The Ninoy Aquino Stadium, formerly known as the Rizal Multi-Purpose Arena, holds a seating capacity of 6,000 and was renovated in time for the ABC Under-18 Championships in 1989.
The stadium also hosted volleyball competitions during the 1991 Southeast Asian Games, the table tennis matches for the 2005 SEA Games, and the 2013 FIBA Asia Championship.
It was also the home of most college basketball games such as the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the National Capital Region Athletic Association (NCRAA) and the National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (NAASCU).
The Weightlifting and Taekwondo competitions will be seeing action at the stadium come the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
